Congratulations on becoming a member of the Residential Life community at ÁùºÏͼ¿â!  The
staff in Residential Life are busy planning for fall move-in and we will provide you
additional move-in information in a letter to be mailed to your home around Aug. 1.

Due to the recent COVID-19 pandemic, we wanted to assure you and your parents that
ÁùºÏͼ¿â’s Division of Residential Life is taking a number of precautions to help in ensuring
your on-campus living accommodations will be ready. Below are some of the actions
we have taken to prepare the rooms, common spaces, and lobbies for your move-in.
- All rooms will receive a review by our maintenance staff and are cleaned by Service
Master Clean with disinfectant.Â
- Due to the concerns surrounding COVID-19, this year ÁùºÏͼ¿â Residential Life has contracted with a company to perform a sanitizing
procedure that is approved by the CDC and EPA. They will use an electrostatic sprayer
with Virex Plus, which is a hospital grade disinfectant.
- The technology behind the electrostatic sprayer is that it touches 100% of all surfaces
in a room, hallway, elevator, laundry room, study room, lobbies, etc.
- This does not mean that your chance of contracting COVID-19 is zero. However, it is
an additional highly effective step we are taking for your safety.
- Once you move in, we encourage you to follow the guidelines provided by the CDC and
ÁùºÏͼ¿â (please view: ulm.edu/coronavirus).  We are placing a COVID-19 check list in
your room to assist in helping you stay safe. We also encourage you to connect with
your roommates/suitemates about what all you can do to ensure a healthy, clean living
area.
ÁùºÏͼ¿â Residential Life is doing our part before you move-in and will continue to disinfect
and clean high traffic common areas throughout the semester. Â Once you move in, we
are counting on you to do your part to keep your environment clean and our campus community safe.
