Bray presents concert Oct. 23

As part of the ͼ Guest Artists on Campus series, Buddy Bray, a ͼ Division of Music alum, will present a piano concert on Oct. 23 in Biedenharn Recital Hall.

Bray grew up in northeastern Louisiana, and studied piano at ͼ with Donald Cornell. He has been principal keyboardist with the Fort Worth Symphony Orchestra since 1986, and has hosted the orchestra’s pre-concert discussion series since 1993. He has appeared as a soloist with the Dallas and Jacksonville symphony orchestras, the Buffalo Philharmonic, the Kennedy Center Opera Orchestra, and in Miguel Harth-Bedoya’s “the Passion of Tango,” with the Los Angeles Philharmonic at the Hollywood Bowl.

ͼ faculty, students and staff are admitted free with I.D. Tickets are $10 for the general public. VAPA is sponsoring the event.
