ÁùºÏͼ¿â alumnus Billy J. Schooley installed as LCPA Northeast Chapter president

University of Louisiana at Monroe alumnus Bill Schooley, CPA, took office as the 2007-08 president of the Northeast Chapter of the Society of Louisiana CPAs. He will serve a one-year term as president of the local chapter.

Schooley received a bachelor's degree in accounting (’69) from ÁùºÏͼ¿â. He is a senior analyst-contract administration at CenturyTel's Corporate headquarters in Monroe.

The LCPA was organized in 1911 and is a non-profit professional association with over 6,300 CPAs working in public practice, industry, government, and education. It is considered the premier organization of accounting professionals in the state.
