ÁùºÏͼ¿â volunteers will help the Great American Cleanup March 1

Making a positive difference is easier than one might think. ÁùºÏͼ¿â volunteers will participate in the 2008 Great American Cleanup, Saturday, March 1, gathering at 9 a.m. at the Bayou Village Suites Conference Center on campus.

The "Great American Cleanup" is a national event that aims for community improvement by picking up litter and promoting environmental responsibility.

Mike Trevathan, coordinator of ÁùºÏͼ¿â Auxiliary Enterprises and also a member of Keep Monroe Beautiful, will organize the ÁùºÏͼ¿â group. Trevathan will have a sign-up sheet and maps. Groups will be sent to specific areas around campus. Duration of the cleanup is estimated at two hours. Drinks and supplies will be provided. The cleanup will likely be postponed in the event of rain.

For more information, contact Trevathan at: (318) 342-5242 or at trevathan@ulm.edu.
