ÁùºÏͼ¿â to host regional Future Business Leaders of America Leadership Conference Feb. 13

The University of Louisiana at Monroe will host the regional Future Business Leaders of America Leadership Conference Wednesday, Feb. 13, beginning with registration at 7:30 a.m.

Over 700 junior and senior high students from schools across northeast Louisiana will compete in a variety of events for a chance to move on to the state level of competition.

After registration, the first testing session will be from 8 – 9 a.m. in the Student Union Building Ballrooms A – D. An opening general assembly will begin in Brown Auditorium at 9 a.m., with more testing following until noon.

Then, there will be a voting assembly to elect officers for the group. At 1 p.m., the current events competition will occur in Brown Auditorium, followed by the awards assembly at 2 p.m.

The ÁùºÏͼ¿â College of Business Administration gives a $1,000 scholarship to the top winner, and ÁùºÏͼ¿â gives a $1000 award to the other top winner (one male and one female, in all).
