Three ÁùºÏͼ¿â College of Pharmacy students receive Wal-Mart scholarship awards

Three University of Louisiana at Monroe College of Pharmacy students have each been awarded a one-time $1,000 The Pharmacy at Wal-Mart Scholarship.

Jennifer Teat, Betthany Thomas, and Ryan Lassabe were specifically selected to receive additional funds this year; previously, Wal-Mart awarded one ÁùºÏͼ¿â student with the grant annually.

Michael B. Peerson, director of Talent Services and Campus Relations for Wal-Mart Stores – Professional Divisions, expressed that, “We want to reaffirm the value we place on our relationship with your school and hope that this $3,000 award will assist students that truly need financial assistance. Education remains a priority for us and each year we review the Pharmacy Scholarship programs to ensure these programs meet our company’s commitment to education.â€
