“Diversity in Education” Feb. 19; part of Black History Month

The Black History Month Committee, part of ͼ’s Diversity Committee, will host “Diversity in Education” Feb. 19, 11:45 a.m. – 1:15 p.m. The presentation will take place in the ͼ Library, Room 3D.

Debra Jackson, chair of the Black History Month Committee and assistant professor of biology, said, “The program will talk about the history, accomplishments and future of African-Americans in the social sciences and basic sciences. We will also have speakers on achievements of some famous non-American Blacks and how to infuse diversity into library science."
