ͼ librarian published in “Louisiana Libraries”

Interlibrary Loan Librarian Melinda F. Matthews at the University of Louisiana at Monroe was recently published in “Louisiana Libraries.”

Her article, “Welcoming Patrons to a Louisiana Academic Library" is published in volume 71, no. 4, Spring 2009 edition of the publication.

She also wrote a book review of Dr. E. Russ Williams’ book “Images of America: Monroe and West Monroe, Louisiana,” which is published in volume 71, no. 4, Spring 2009, of “Louisiana Libraries.”

Matthews has worked at the ͼ Library since July 1990, where she started as Humanities Reference Librarian. She became Interlibrary Loan/Reference Librarian in January 1992.

She earned her master's degree in Library and Information Science from Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge in May 1990 and a bachelor's degree in English in December 1988 from McNeese State University in Lake Charles.
