ͼ performing arts students host "Comedy Tonight" March 7 and 8

At 7:30 p.m., Thursday, March 7, and Friday, March 8, University of Louisiana at Monroe students will perform various classical scenes from opera and musical theater in the Emy-Lou Biedenharn Recital Hall, under the theme “Comedy Tonight.”

Admission is free and open to the public.

The concert—presented by ͼ music majors—will include scenes from such works as “Die Fledermaus,” “Annie Get Your Gun,” and “The Last Five Years.”

Director of ͼ Opera and Musical Theater Dr. Mark R. Clark will direct the show; the pianist is Kajsa Wilkins.
